last of Wednesday and the zgc

here is the building i tried to take a picture of at night that turned out crappy. It was when i saw this building that i realized i had been in this area before.

when i crossed over the main street to this area all the sudden every second person started offering me electronics of some sort. DVD's, memory sticks, cameras, etc... i did not find out how much anything was, though i might go back once i get a DVD player. It is pretty far though and there are a ton of places to pick up anything you need closer to the hotel.


there are two connected buildings that hold more legitimate vendors. i was actually kind of lucky to stumble in here. i saw a starbucks sign and wanted to take a picture inside of it. Turns out it is four huge (block-sized) floors of electronics vendors. You can buy anything here. Parts, DVD's, mp3 players, pcs, cases, kitchen appliances, if it has electronics in it is here.

i really liked the lines this picture and the fact that it was a meta picture of someone taking a picture (definition of meta i know but explaining it for Brett and Lauren).









digressing more into pointy-headedness. i am liking this taking a picture thing though and having fun taking tons of different pictures of many types of things and seeing how they turn out. Hopefully some of them start turning out all right. We will see.

my music recommendation for the day is nas - illmatic - columbia. He is still considered a master based on this album. Perfect walking around town music, good stories and something i have listened to so much it keeps me reminded of home even while exploring.
