I am liking this shot of the pipes The brick is set off nicely:
This one I am not as fond of but still like it:
"The notion that a radical is one who hates his country is naïve and usually idiotic. He is, more likely, one who likes his country more than the rest of us, and is thus more disturbed than the rest of us when he sees it debauched. He is not a bad citizen turning to crime; he is a good citizen driven to despair." - H. L. Mencken

Trying something a little different with this one. Got a plugin for Lightroom that let's me export all my photos right to the blog without going through Live Writer. Might take a few tries to get it to work.

And by the end of this you will be able to tell my favorite part of the sculpture park.
Found graffiti on the way there. Very hippy futuristic:
And now for a ridiculous amount of shots of essentially the same thing. My goal now is to commission a Richard Serra work when I am rich and famous. Just hoping he can last that long.
I like how the black and white flattens the depth of this some:
Showing off the curves. Everybody loves curves:
Another flattened one:
Texture:
And more:
And just in case you did not have enough:
The camera is in macro mode so a meta shot of even more close up texture:

Especially a naked parade. Starting the morning off with some Bloody Marys and then watching a pretty cool parade is not a bad way to spend a Saturday.
After the parade we caught these guys playing out front of a liquor store on the sidewalk. Their first couple of songs were pretty good but they kind of fell off after that:
My holding the little one during the parade:
Some dancing in front of one of the floats:
More dancing although with many more people:
Calla enjoying my hat more so than the parade:
On the way there:
Waiting for the parade. Her enthusiasm matches everyone elses:
People wanting to get run over by the Katamari:
The good stilt walker:
Something having to do with the fall of the French empire (It was at this point I realized I needed a program):
more stilt walkers:

You almost cannot identify what is going on in this picture which I like:
And how can you not think that these whiskers are majestic?
