after dinner we decided to go to karaoke. Had to get used to the whole deal for when i go with work. Also i realized that party world is a karaoke place. It looks like anything with the letters ktv means karaoke.

this is Helen, hua, and William eating food before we start. It turns out that most food and non-alcoholic drink is free at the karaoke place. Of course you are renting out the room so really you are paying for it but even at peak hours it is only $12 an hour. If you are observant you will notice that we went right from dinner to karaoke and the first thing everyone did was eat more. That gives you an idea of how good dinner was.

here is the outside of the building (see ktv? With the t hiding by the light pole). This is one of the fancier places in the city. It is right downtown and massive.

here is the inside and hua looking intently at the free gifts we were given. a mallet that made noise, a light up koosh ball and some fiberoptic brush that came right from spencers.

i did not sing much. In fact i did not sing at all. i didn't want to lose my new friends by outshining them in karaoke. Mostly hua and i tried to have a conversation while William and Helen kept turning up the volume on the singing system. i did put in one song "dirty naughty bitchy". i have to admit i was curious to see what this interestingly titled song sounded like. Turns out like cookie cutter r & b. The rest of the English songs were mostly beatles and other 60's, 70's stuff.

this is the end of Sunday but i have no music recommendation because the one cool Chinese song i heard, well i have no idea who sang it or what it is called. i have seen it on mtv Asia though and am slowly getting the characters down to pick it up. When i do i will let you know.
