Friday was a busy day. My mom and aunt came in around 9-ish. I ended up staying at work a little late so by the time I got home I was a little later in getting dressed and ready. I got to the airport late enough to make me question whether they had exited customs or not. Finally though I saw them wandering around in the customs area and we managed to meet up.

After going home to drop off their stuff, I got the unique opportunity to meet my girlfriend’s parents without my girlfriend with my mom and aunt in a foreign country for all of us. It turned out to be a great time. I got lots of really good Taiwanese beef jerky that I have been trying to ration since I got it for my trip to Cambodia. We had lots of getting to know one another conversation then left to grab some food for my guests.

Instead of eating first though we decided to stop by Bodhi for a foot massage which according to my aunt is the best way ever of getting off a long plane trip. After a little relaxation we went to the tree for the first of a couple pizza nights and grabbed some late night drinks and food. It was good catching up with my mom and aunt and I think they enjoyed getting some familiar food in their bellies before we finally got home way to late, around 4ish.
