A Seafood Feast

Yachi’s parents were in town and decided to make a hugemongous feast for all of us.  We had crab, shrimp, pork, corn, broccoli and rice.  So many crab we had to get a large steamer from one of the two places in Seattle that sells them.  It was awesome.

Showing off some of the ginormous shrimps:

And Now For Something Different

Back to my traditional stomping grounds of stream of consciousness sorts of pictures.

New cats having a terrible time getting used to their new house:

I like how the out of focus graffiti makes it look like the chain link fence is affecting the wall:

Some probably toxic waste:

I like how the sky adds a little hint of drama to the picture but wish I knew how to get rid of the power lines in the background

Just to mix it up a little bit a, *shock*, non-baby or family photo.  Pretty cool artichoke thing.

Back to de rigeur with Calla starting to show a little boredom with me taking photos.

Baby Series

Come on you think I am going to take photos of anything else for a while?

The forbidden fruit, aka tv:

Moving Day

The truck rolled in and needed to be emptied so I became designated photographer for the day to avoid any sort of labor.  DA drove out with Kip and helped unload the truck which astounds me.  I can’t think of many friends I would do that for.

I managed to catch a few good shots while avoiding work.

Walking Around With The Little Girl

She was strapped to my back the majority of the time so not a lot of shots of her but the one I was able to get it one of my favorites so far:

JB_20090509_0092

Later in the day reading on the floor:

I also caught Eileen licking her lips in preparation for the food.  Obviously we starve them as shown by the flipped over bowls:

JB_20090509_0049

While walking around for three hours with the little one passed out on my back I did get some cool city shots.

Straight out of the dust bowl:
