with your friends, is the way to spend the weekend:
And some random graffiti:
"The notion that a radical is one who hates his country is naïve and usually idiotic. He is, more likely, one who likes his country more than the rest of us, and is thus more disturbed than the rest of us when he sees it debauched. He is not a bad citizen turning to crime; he is a good citizen driven to despair." - H. L. Mencken

Lots of fog recently and today I finally had my camera with me. Surprisingly there was also a lot of frost at work.
On the bridge:
More on the bridge:
The water and fog, although it is a little hard to actually see the lake :):

And again in a more abstract fashion:
Some frost on the blue sky:

To the unbridled optimism of the last post. This is a video shot by a still photographer and I really appreciate the style. The subject matter is something that weighs on your mind though. Tying back to the optimism though hopefully this is something we can all help out in the next 4 years.

You all know why:
It is good to see everyone so excited about the possibilities of the next 4 (at least).
Also made some dinner tonight. I love that it is called dill weed (hahahahahahaha):

Kind of like Memento this is going to go in reverse.
Had dinner with an some old co-workers, one of whom was in from Beijing. It was a lot of fun and I am glad we got to catch him before his flight back the following day.

I cannot remember where I took this exactly but I am guessing near Calla. I like how the middle texture really jumps out in this:
Some of the store’s namesake:
And my attempt at dinner this week. I think if I keep up the making dinner at least once a week I will also try to take a picture of at least one of the ingredients and the finished product. Good practice if nothing else:
And product:
So after getting the gym, I learned Yachi forgot all of her stuff and was not going to go. So I got a chance to repeat the wandering around and taking photos.
Where’s the beef?:

Yachi and I are trying to go to the gym more and the bus comes back from work about 30 minutes before she can make it to the gym so I have been getting a little bit of time to wander around and take some night shots of Seattle. A little cold but fun.
